why does finding a fiver make you smile :)

when i was about 17 I found £60 and properly should have handed it in but instead enjoyed myself!

anyway just wondered what the most amount of cash or valuable item you have found?
 
found 140 quid in a wallet someone didnt claim! also found 20 quid in town few times walking home from a night out!

also found a tenner in a nightclub!
 
£20 I think.

I was gagging to death in the heat in France once and found a 5 Euro note. 2 cold drinks please monsieur. Saved my life that did.

My friend found £200 once in a supermarket carpark, wind was blowing it around on the ground.

He actually look it into the supermarket customer service, and no one came to claim it after a month and they rang him and he got it all.

A couple of quid down the back of my sofa lol....thats about all i have found...my mate found £100 in a bag one time...it was in a row of bushes...told him that it was drug money obviously so he spunked it all on clothes lol.

I was 18, poor and Global Gathering was approaching

It paid for an amazing weekend.
I still feel a little guilty.
 
I found €20 a few times. I think I found €50 once but I'm not sure. I tend not to lose money but I can claim to have lost similar quantities of weed a few times. I just know that the person who found it after me wasn't lucky as judging from the places they would have thrown it away.
 
I found about £600 in the snow earlier this year..............then I saw that it was Early Learning Centre money!!!!!!!

I half buried it in the snow again for the next person to find :)
 
£50 note in a club, in the middle of a room with everyone around the edge looking inward. How no one else spotted it is beyond me :|

Talking about valuable items. I once found a puppy who had got lost, took it back to its owner and got £200. :)
 
£20, I think. Was a very long time ago. I found it crumpled on the floor in the middle of town. How know one else found it I don't know but then again I don't know how long it had been there.
