But it wouldn;t be bulfrog, though i gues liongate did keep a lot of bullfrog kind of orginality in games dispite i recon many of the workers have now moved on. If it wernt made by liongate im not sure it would have that special something. I still play dk2, the ai does let it down though in this day and age but its just so fun!

I liked the first one of these, liked the demo of this, might well pick up the actual game. It does get quite tactical later on in the game, simply sending your minions swarming at enemies won't work.

And yes, there should be a DK3. EA own the rights though, so it would have to be done by Lionhead and given a different name, with Molyneux given free licence to pull the design/programming strings.
 
My pre-order has also been dispatched and am looking forward to playing it, not heard anything about a figurine though. Where was yours from?

The old Overlord was a lot of fun. It had a few problems, not least regarding the Overlord's great swinging feather duster of a weapon - I'm really hoping it's a bit more useful this time. However, there aren't really any other games quite like it, and it's hella fun.

Also, the original DK was better. DK2 just lacked a little for me, especially on the construction front. If the first one had a combat pit and better cash harvesting, it'd be up there in my top 5, easy.
 
i couldn't even get into the 1st one so probs wont bother with this one - unless its 75% off weekend deal on steam or something
