Spec me a Zelda game

I've just finished OOT (for the 10th+ time, haha) but I played through with a cel-shaded texture pack. It looked AWESOME. I obviously can't link to any of the information required but it's so worth it.

I've played every Zelda game (bar the one of the Philips CDi, but that doesn't count) and they are all amazing - well, apart from the second NES one. It's definitely my favourite series by a long way.

Thanks very much guys.

I really like the look of WW (and there's a couple of votes for it on here) as well as OTT so I think a Game Cube and WW Limited Edition is in order!

Can pick up GC for pittance these days, like £15-20, and WW can be had for about a tenner, so not expensive and well worth it :D

It might not be 3D but Link To The Past (SNES) by far has the most perfect structure of all the Zelda's to date.

Plus 2D sprites have aged a bit more gracefully.

What more can i say?

Nothing would be more than enough? Or would you be able to say less?

Its like spec me a Mario game, there all the same rubbish they've been since the NES days.

As yathzee says, only another 3 mario games coming out this year.......

I'm not convinced you've played more than one Zelda game somehow, and you're posting more for attention.

Next you'll be saying the Final Fantasy franchise is milked...

Your ignorance is simply staggering. It really, truly is.

In any case, check this out. Here's a comparison I made between OOT with normal/Hi-res/Cel-shading textures.

If you get a Wii, you can play Ocarina of Time, Link to the Past and Majora's Mask through Virtual Console downloads, WindWaker through Gamecube backwards compatibility, and Twilight Princess (AND the new one, when it comes out) through normal means. Basically, pretty much all the good ones except the handheld versions.

Haha, I could give you most Zelda games being pretty similar, but nearly every Mario game has something distinctly different about it. The only two that are really that similar are 1 and 3 on the NES.
