Finished my degree at the university of manchester doing information systems engineering this year and just got my marks. Averaged 58 overall, 2 % away from a 2:1  but oh well still got my degree and a 2:2 at manchester is still ok... anyone else graduating this year ? or did anyone in the past.

well done mate, at least you finished, knew a load who dropped out, i've no idea what i got, and i graduated last year :S all i know it i didn't get honours >.>

at least you got your results for some reason loads of the maths students ones haven't been announced yet, no explanation why

Thanks all, yeh i know was reading on facebook, apparently some manchester met students papers were lost so were never marked xD

need to decide what to do with my life now, was looking online and a lot of jobs say minimum 2:1.... does that mean i can't apply at all... or that i can apply but i probably wont get it

I got my results (well classification) on wednesday, 2.1 MEng Electronic Engineering (Computing) from University of Sheffield. We don't graduate till late next month though.

well it classes as "in the past" I graduated last year 2:1 BA in Internet Technologies & Business from Chester University.

Graduated in 2004 with a 2:1. In the first half of the final year I was geared up for a first but then I didn't go to any lectures at all in the second half so got a 2:1 because of stuff I'd missed :o

Graduated last year with a 2:1 in Computer Science from RHUL and I'm actually off to Manchester this year for MSc Advance CompSci with IT Management. I missed Uni.

And yeah, 2:2/Tutu - get it? :) I think a 1st is a Geoff Hurst, and a 3rd is a Thora Hird, but I can't remember what a 2:1 is.
