I downloaded Windows 7 64 RC last night and downloaded img burn also. How do I create the ISO with img burn? Windows 7 is a rar file you can see it in the screen below.

Thanks.

it already is an ISO file that you have..

says in the filename :p

turn on 'show extensions for known filetypes' in the windows explorer tools, options view

just burn that file as an image (iso) to disc using imgburn

I feel really dumb right now but where is the windows explorer tools bit. I have opened up the AVS4YOU software and I select "Burning Software" then "AVS DVD authoring"? I have never burnt a dvd before so I'm sorry for the nooby questions :p

-EDIT-

I downloaded the wrong software. I now have IMG burn :p ..

I have opened up IMG burn and browsed for the files, i selected the winrar folder and it is going to copy everything from it, and put it onto a disk. That right? What speed should the burn be at? 4x?

Nope, you're burning the file you opened that contains the files.

With ImgBurn, just press burn image to DVD and select the iso file. Job done :)

It's not a winrar file that you have. You have an ISO file with which winrar is attempting to open. Use Ultimate DVD burner as suggested above and click the "Burn ISO" button and choose the ISO file you have and it'll do the rest for you

Once it is downloaded is there a way to test if it works or not? Im going to be gutted it it doesnt work tomorrow when my new stuff comes! :)

yep, Download Virtual Clone Drive (freeware) install it and it'll make a virtual cd drive in My Computer. Right click it , choose mount and choose your iso file and see what happens!

I clicked the select burn image to disk, found the file but it just says "Device not ready, medium not present." This is really frustrating. I have tried img burn and the other program and it wont start. Help :(
