Summer time - Temp Increase?

my card is currently idle at 73c, its causing my cpu to idle 4 or 5 degrees hotter than usual. This is just an 8800gts as well, id hate to think what the gt200 series would be like right now.

EDIT

Do the later nvidia cards clock themseleves down when not in use?

Yep my PC is running loads hotter. It actually overheated last night and crashed. Case fans are now running at 100% and gfx fans at 50%. CPU idle = 50c, CPU load = Dont want to test that lol, GFX idle = 48c, GFX load = 65c

Yeah, my systems not been liking the heat either.

GTX260 with a minor OC (like.. less than 25MHz on each clock) is idling at ~10°C higher than usual (60° idle, rather than 50). i've set up custom fan profiles using RivaTuner to speed it up as it gets hotter. If it hits 80°, then the fan gets turned up to 11.

Not sure about a temp increase on my cpu, it never went above 45° in cooler weather, so i think i'm gonna be ok.

I have 2 PC's in my room though. So i get rather warm whenever i'm at home. Even moreso because i'm unlucky enough to have the airing cupboard in my room. Jeez, its hot. I have a ceiling fan, which just gives a bit of airflow, rather than actively cooling. I do wonder if i should fit a server-room air con unit on the wall....

I need water cooling bolted to me.

Who needs a gaming chair when you can just use a sit in bath!
