Hi all I was just wondering Overclockers have this PC -

With the 295 GTX how would this handle games such as Farcry 2, Crysis , GTA IV, Fallout 3 Dead Space, Gears of War, Empite Total War. Games like that really, most of the new games tho.

Now, would they handle them ok, or should I wait and get something else or?

I got a 22 inch so 1680 by 1050 I think?

However, later I think I will move to a 24 so.

oic well a GTX 285 would be just as suitable as the GTX295 but a lot cheaper

however if you do not change your monitor a GTX260/GTX275 would be more thatn adequate for all those gaems

Right ok thanks! Btw, is there new NVIDIA cards coming out very soon, what I mean is, should I wait if so because things will go down in price or?

get the GTX260 for now it should keep u and ur wallet happy till next pring is when the nvidia cards will be out,

however if u are willing to buy an ATi card the 4890 is the best bang for buck card atm

Next year did you mean? , ok. is the 4890 any good then, would that handle games?

yes it would but u seem to be fixated on Nvidia so stick with the GTX 260 for now and get the newer cards from them in spring 2010

tbh its cpu intensive aswell i think the i7 would be fine but obviously the GTX295 would be a lot better than the GTX260 because it is 2XGTX260s on one card but at your resolution i cannto see a reason getting anything better than a GTX 275

Hi, I'm buying the Ultima Vanquish machine from OcUK in a week or two, with the Antec 902 case, vista premium 64 bit os and the 4890 and i plan to play it at 1920x1080, it will play it max np, was gonna get a 4870 but thought what the hey the 4890 has a decent amount more performance and atm its not too much more.

but yeah i say forget getting a gtx295, get a 4890 instead, it'd do great on games for a few years to come, and then why not slap another one in there at a later date, go crossfire.
