Im probly going to order this bundle seeing as it's an excellent deal but i was just wondering about cooling will i be able to cool with just the fan or am i going to need to get water cooling or an intercooler?

With the bundle as supplied it will run at 4.00GHz with the Titan Fenrir under 100% load with just a low cfm 120mm case fan installed in a case.

I just realised. It's 4ghz gauranteed on air. Wonder what I can get on water cooling?? mmmmm

But that memory is going to gold me back surely.

Memory wont hold you back much at all, 4.40GHz is attainable on the Fenrir with some of the bundles but with temps a little too high to ship with. Luck of the draw and your unofficially on your own if you want to push the clock any further.

Does anyone have the bios profile settings for this setup with the cpu at 4ghz and memory at 1600?

Damn, after hearing about Intel's plan with i3, i5 and i7, I kinda want to hop on this wagon and have the high end 1366 socket but I just don't think I'll see the gaming performance increase from my 3.6GHz Q6600 which has been good as gold to me, urgh, hard decisions.

Seems I am only getting the parcel monday because DPD has decided to hold onto it for some unknown reason!!! Atleast overclockers refunded the delivery charge.

But if I have a choice next time I wont be using DPD again!!!!

DOUBLE POST! (sorry but order already placed)

Just ordered and changed heatsink to water cooling block. XSPC Delta V3 block.


But!!!! I have no clue what connectors you sell that go with it. I have the "Swiftech H2O-220 Apex Ultima Plus" water cooling kit and site says "Inlet/Outlet Ports: G1/4"" but cant find matching connectors? HELP!!!!

Can you change the bundle lke this? Or did you just buy the water block seperately?

Mine just arrived today. My work vmwrae runs on this desktop it's replacing. I'm so tempted to log off and have a go installing this.

My main problem is taking off the current water pipes and moving then across to this one and not spill a litre of water everywhere!!!


I see the board has 10 SATA ports!! impressive!! And 4 seems to be hardware raid which will be great for a raid0.

Hmmmm, quite tempted now, would be quite an upgrade with a 120Gb SSD. In the middle of buying a house atm so I could get this and tell the missus we'll have to put off the washing machine/fridge freezer/cooker for a while...

Luckily I have a bay reservouir so can just pop the cap off and tip the system upside down so installing wont be an issue
