Got my degree marks today

Thanks, but for some reason our mech eng course is really easy to be honest :P A-Levels were harder in terms of hours spent working/revising!

Is it accredited? Just done my first year of an accredited mech eng degree and it wasn't all that easy :p. But then I had year between leaving school and going so maybe I'm just a bit rusty!

I got a First class honours in Mechanical engineering at King's college London, just found out today. I am absolutely thrilled.

Second Class Honours (Upper Division) in Economics from LSE.

Chuffed with the results even though I didn't get a first. But if I'm honest with myself I didnt put in the effort for a first. Something I'd change if I started my degree again, but whats done is done.

2:2 French and Spanish BA from UCL. Gutted to say the least as I was expecting a 2:1 and got 2:1/1sts in all courseworks and non desk exam matters for all years. I must really suck at desk exams :(
However, on the bright side I was accepted for two different MA's at UCL in spite of this disappointing grade (one English, one Russian) :)

Does it matter? Surely your first year doesnt count toward your degree?

I was told employers can request a transcript of marks, which for me at my Uni, includes year one. So its worth doing the best you can so you can show your consistant and just didn't doss about in year 1 because it doesnt "matter"

but from a 3rd rate university :D

dont really think much of degrees from crap unversistes - standards aren't the same, one of my friends struggled on Computer Sciense course at Imperial (ie fail 1st year) only to go to UWE and get a 1st!

Some x poly are better than 95 % of old universities.
