Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

Graphically it's leaps ahead on the PC (over 360) for me, you can quite clearly see how much sharper everything is and objects in the background are much less aliased.

I said this many a time before and ended up getting flamed for it - all games look much better on the 360 compared to the PS3 - and i play more games on the ps3 than 360 - so im no fanboy!

I've played on both and really didn't notice much, but then it is a low detail game anyway so any differences won't be as obvious.

I just played a really good guy (he was patient, didn't spam, did fadc moves) and god I was on fire, was countering almost everything and had some really good games.

Perfect connection too, didn't skip a beat. I think I've got it all back now, was playing absolutely flawlessly with Sagat even hitting his lk to tiger knee combos which I usually fail at comboing.

So the other day had myself a championship match and in the third round, we had a double KO. Result? See below!

grrr online rage quitter are ****ing me off so much!

I was up to my highest grade point of 2070GP(yeah i'm not great but getting there) then some punk called "MrOrangeCrush"
quit before the match results saved which put me back down to 1650GP
Then I got back up to 1838GP and some Akuma punk called Taomoto(something like that) quit after I beat him in the first round, putting me back down to 1650Gp again lol.

Sony/capcom need to fix this!

The differences are massive to me, don't you play with the settings lower though?

Maxed out at 1920x1200, the game puts the console version to shame! It' looks extremely detailed too.

Whats the forum rules governing minimus sizes?

There isn't a solid rule, but if they're that huge then they can become an issue.

Read it as "PS3" for some reason, probably because I was talking about the graphical differences between the PS3 and 360 originally.

I play on all high at 1280*800 and yes there is a huge difference between console/PC.

I loved to try a stick for a few days, just to see if it's worth spending £60-80 on making a custom one, never played any SF before but loving it.

Hate not being able to hit any combos 95% of the time, think a stick will help?

Same, I think I'd really enjoy using a stick once I buy one but it's just thinking is the money going to make much of a difference or do I just suck generally :p

Would the £40ish PS3 Hori ones you can get be worth the money or are they pap?

Oh right. :p

I love the stages on PC, really nice and clear. 360 is leaps ahead for online play though, PC version just seems dead at times I can hardly ever get a championship match going when I'm at the finals.

Tbh it probably won't help much, i still play better with a pad and i've had a stick for a couple of months now! But yes you're right, a stick is more fun than a pad which is why i've stuck with it; i may suck even more with it but at least i have more fun.

The Hori sticks are really good apparently, better than the £60 SE stick. The only reason most of us have SE sticks is because we've upgraded them with sanwa parts (which costs an extra £40).
