New (refurbished) PS3 setup questions.

Tonight I will set up my new/refurbished PS3 (finally after 5 weeks)

- I did not delete my account on my old PS3 as it was YLOD, will that give me problems registering my account with this PS3?
- Will the trophies load up as soon as I set up my account, they are saved on a server?
- Can I redownload all the bought content from the PSN without issue?

no yes yes, you will just loose saves unless you backed them up elsewhere, though

I know about the saves, I thought I could just put in my 320GB I took out of my dead PS3 but that will not work, I did however back up my saves to an external drive, unfortunately not all saves could be backed up and the lst backup I did was two weeks before the PS3 died.

How do you back up saves onto an external source?

Either do a backup from the settings menu, or go to the save you want to copy and hit triangle.

Connect the external drive or USB stick, go to the savegame, select copy and select the external drive/USB stick.

The problem is that some savegames like RE:5 cannot be copied which means I lost my RE:5 save which is annoying to put it mildly

If I would do a full backup would it backp the savegames that are locked?
