Looks like (at best) the PC version will be delayed until after the 360, no idea on time or anything else.

Remember the time when this was being touted as the Windows Vosta launch title?

Still looking forward to the game but no 360 means a long (if not forever) wait.:(

It's because everyone and their dog have got an xbox :(
I read somewhere that this is going to be the 'unofficial' Max Payne 3... if so I can't wait for the pc version!

Very true, I love my 360. It's the online that's awesome.. The graphics aren't even that good most of the time and sometimes it has poor' FPS's but we still love it because of the enviroment etc..

Developers can see this.

It really, really bugs me, the precedence Xbox gets from developers. :( Slags.

Mo' money in it for Microsoft if they do it this way. It's most certainly a system seller so if they can get a few more xboxes out of the door and then release it on the PC they will. Also i'd be willing to bet profits from 360 sales will be much greater than that of the PC.

And then they moan that PC game sales are dwindling. Hardly surprising if PC gamers are made to wait for games.

yup. too bad not many follow suit on sims 3 which has sold over 2million copies, probably more. Or the fact that arma 2 is selling relatively well too

Extreme PC piracy is mainly to blame. Intel even sponsored this game a few years ago to showcase their quadcores I remember a tech demo with an impressive tornado in it.

Do not think the PC is going to get much big title support for a longtime to come piracy has damaged it a lot in the past year. It will carry on getting 360 ports delayed like this. If piracy gets much worse then even these will become rare.

Extreme PC piracy?
It's not something i look for, and i am sure it does exsist to some extent, but pirated console games are by far easier to obtain?
I own a Wii and have had numerous offers from people to "chip it".

From where i am looking pirated console games are far more readily available than pirated PC games?

Wouldn't agree myself. Pirating PC games is stupidly easy and they're on all the usual torrent sites, whereas pirating console games involves a lot more steps, as well as modified hardware a lot of the time.

Although, you would need to go through the process of chipping (possibly costing you time and money) whereas, what is to stop PC piraters throwing cracked isos and games up on a torrent site. IMO pc piracy is far more obtainable than console piracy.

edit: too slow :(

Must be frustrating for some devs. I know I would want to produce something to its best potential. Or is the pc (i.e. CPU/GPU power) not that much better than I imagine it to be? (I've not played a PS3 or Xbox360 game really.)
*Goes to look at some youtube Xbox and PS3 vids.

Any mid-range PC will outperform a 360, the problem is the average joe doesnt know this/has no concept of hardware upgrading/isnt bothered about having the greatest hardware/is lazy or just prefers console gaming.

have u see how easy it is to crack and mod a 360? all u need is a desktop machine which most people have nowadays and the rest is history. takes 5mins to do and is dead easy. no mod chip etc needed and undetectable by xbox live.

i remember how fallout 3 leaked on the 360 first weeks before the release date and a month before the pc version was leaked
