which case is best for coolin the haf 932 or antec 1200, has anybody had one of these or noth whats the temps like

I prefer the Antec myself, ive not got either of these cases btw.

Check out the threads on both cases their is plenty of info on them, i'm sure you'll decide on what one you want after reading threw them.

HAF its longer so its can fit bigger cards but they both are ugly. and the HAF has bigger fans as well, you can change them.

its up to you like I siad

I had the same decision to choose. I bought the 1200 in the end. Better looking, and pre painted black, dust filters, it's just a high quality case! I recommend it.

+1 for the Antec.
Got the 900-2 here and previously the 900 and much prefer them to the HAF.
Too much vibration and case noise from the HAF,probably ok for most people but being a silent freak i just couldn't put up with it and got rid.

HTH

Antec all the way mate :) I own 5 Antec cases:

Plusview 1000
2x Antec 900
Antec 902
Antec 1200

Every single one as sweet as the other :D

yeah I perfer the CM as well plus you can change the big fans for a lot of smaller ones

+1 for the Antec 1200, looks awesome, great cooling, painted black on the inside and tons of space aswell as a great cable management system.

Personally I would be more tempted towards the Antec. I own an original 900 though, and while the build quality is damn good, it aint half a dust magnet with those mesh panels on the front and side of the case.

Overall though I would still get the 1200... it looks better though imo it still doesnt win any beauty competitions. Good airflow, good finish on it etc.

I think both cases are ugly but they have good cooling thats why i want one or the other,

ps anyone who has a haf 932 i know were to get the dust filter for the large 230mm fans let me know and ill give you the link there about £4-5 each

Antec 1200 has amazing cooling and is very large inside so you wont have any issues with large graphics cards or cable management. Over clocked on air q6600 @ 3.2 GHz, 1.6V with artic 7 and antec 1200 my ambient cpu is 20C cores are 38-40C idle 59C under 100% Prime 95 load.

I will agree with woohoomoo tho, the 1200 is a dust magnet I have to clean the filters every 2-3weeks, they do keep the dust away from the components inside though. Build quality is great, rock solid and the fans on low (which is how I usually keep them) are quiet. When you set the fans on high though, it sounds like a hurricaine.

HAF 932 *** mate i've just got one and i wasn't dissappointed at all its and actual beast and the massive fans on it keep any system as cool as ice mate go buy one!
