Looks rather like Alien Swarm, which was awesome

Will keep an eye on this, hopefully it'll have 4/5 player co-op.

Ah..rocking. Alien Breed rocked (and Alien Swarm has definite similarities).

I think there was also a dos remake a while back. Not sure of the link off hand though (and too lazy to look)

Not that I've heard. I think they had problems with publishing it...but I'm really not sure

Alien Breed was pure awesome, remember rocking it 2 player on the Amiga 600, was good times.

Oh wow, this looks so awesome! Did anyone play Alien Breed 3D? Or even AB 3D 2? At the time there was no machine that could run it and they sold only a handful of copies

Wow that looks awesome! I loved the Alien Breed games. Project X was awesome too. Those were the days.

The good thing is I imagine they'll be aiming to "beat" the Shadowgrounds games (both of which I rather like), so I'm rather looking forward to it.

My 1200 played it hapilly. 3d and 3d2 rocked.
I did prefer Tower Assault though.

Here we go - which version?
4 disk or 3 disk?

I remember the 4 disk for being extremely hard and the 3 disk Special edition for being much easier.

Yup - Team 17 gave them permission to put up their Amiga back catalogue!

They had a superb reputation on the Amiga, Alien Breed, Superfrog, Project X, Super Stardust, Worms, Body Blows, Assassin etc...

Sadly, the death of the amiga just lead them into upteen Worms remakes..
