Battlefield 1943

I too couldn't hear anyone talking, but instead of just sitting there wondering about it, I plugged my mic in and said "hello". Someone immediately responded with "nobody is talking", and someone else said "I know", and someone else started talking as well. So everyone is sat there wondering why people aren't talking, but aren't talking themselves...
 
Still haven't even managed to get online (360 version). I'm beginning to think i haven't forwarded some required ports or something :/
 
When will dice learn to put a mother ******* mute button in their online games!!!!!!!

I spent 5 min hearing a baby cry.


Not just that but from what i can tell there isnt any symbol showing you who is talking.
 
Ah so you can talk, no one in the games I played did!
Hopefully there will be some updates like seeing who is talking and muting players!

If I want to play with people on my friends list do I just invite them into a squad then we join a server or does it have to be X amount of people? Can I not just go join the game they are in if the server isnt full? Would be nice to just "follow friend"
 
PSN f t w :p Seriously though, not sure why the Xbox version is having issues, they've said the capacity is great enough now. As I downloaded the Jap verision this morning, I have to redownload the Euro version now I've bought it which is annoying!
 
Played it for a bit on the ps3 and thought it was decent. I think I would prefer it on the pc though, just seems like it would feel better for me.

Love the planes though! And the graphics are great for a PSN/arcade game.
 
They need to sort the 360 version out, been trying to play with a mate most of the day and while we got some games we experienced crashing of the game completely/mate kept losing connection and now and again you get randomy graphical glitches after driving the boat. It's all been reported by various users, so I hope they patch it. Really enjoying it when it works!
 
Glad to see you are also getting the graphic mess ups Spikey.. I thought it might of been the GPU in my 360 starting to pack up. I had some crazy black lines all over the place earlier when I looked behind me.
 
Bought it for 360 yesterday, downloaded last night, and thanks to another publisher’s poor planning (CoD4 last time iirc) have yet to play it online :(

No worries though, me and a mate used our 360s to host chat, then grabbed a copy for the PS3 – straight into a game with no fuss, and it’s great fun; well worth the 2x £10.

Loving it so far only problem is that it's just too busy on Live. I haven't been able to join a game with any of my m8s yet.

Be Interesting to see which community unlocks Coral Sea first.
 
Played it for atleast 3hours last night and I've come to the conclusion that I Shouldn't be allowed in a plane!
One of the maps I LOVE, 1 is ok and 1 I really don't like!
 
I'm hopeless in the plane. The tutorial doesn't give you dogfighting practice - I can't seem to shake off anyone who's behind me nor hit anyone in front of me. :D

I've been pretty fine on the 360 version. usually 2-5 tries before i'm in a server....first day was bad but its fine now.

I was flying under both bridges last night on wake island on a full server LOL ended badly after 5 goes though :(
