Best internet package?

Hi there, i was wondering if anyone could have ago at beating our current internet deal.

We are with talktalk, and they seriously fail, and we have had enough!

So we are looking for a better package, but my dad is an Accountant and needs specific things in the package.

Currently we have

£12PM for the line rental
£12 for Unlimited calls, anytime.
£2.50 caller ID and bills
£2 for 50% mobile phone discount
Free Internet - But the internet seriously fails, now! 1/5Mbs and we have 4 users on the net at any one time.

Could anyone recommend a better all in one service?

In a cable area? Virgin Media have some good deals that can be made a lot better by bargaining (See the thread started by me)

Probably Virgin is your best bet for an "all in one" thing, but for a seperate one then definitely O2 or Be*.

I live the same place as you and the maximum speed I can get is 2meg.

I think we are, We are in the service area for all ISPS and we can have over 2Mb

According to Virgin we can have up to 16MB*

I would be happy with 6/8mb

That is what it says for me but we get 2meg maximum.

when talktalk first came on the scene, i snapped that offer up for the free internet.

the worst internet i have seen, back then. i dont know how it is now, but i couldnt play any online games.

Talktalk is a dire ISP. It's free for a reason.

If in cable area go with virgin.
if not go with bt, they may be more expensive. But if anything goes **** up your speaking directly to the people who own the line.
Also with bt i havent been kicked from the internets at peak period.

Haslington. It's about 2 miles away. We are with O2 fwiw.

Just had our 50meg installed today and so far have nothing less that 47MB

Loving it.

meh i aint getting that unless, the local sheep start wanting broadband enouth for virgin to lay cable.
