So here she is then, I took the external pictures with my phone at my grandparents house, so forgive the quality, the interior I did at home with a proper camera though.
If you didn't see the other thread I made last week before I got her, then I guess I better tell you exactly what's what, it's a 2004 Jaguar XJ8 3.5 V8 Sport, in Ultimate Black with Barley leather interior and all the usual refinements. It has 18" alloys, twin stainless steel exhausts, the entire body shell is made of aluminium, making it weigh a mere 1,615kg, which is very light for a car this size. The 3,555 cc short stroke lightweight V8 pumps out a not so amazing 263bhp, and 254lbs/ft of torque. This actually works perfectly well in a car weighing only as much as a smaller typical V6/l6 executive saloon though, so you get plenty of oomph, the torque is quite nice and the 6 speed ZF autobox is very, very smooth.

I need to give it a good polish and wax and lavish some time on it, to make it good as new, but I'm very pleased with it so far, drives beautifully. It had a full service this morning, had all it's major fluids changed and it purrs along smooth as silk, yet roars and grunts like a V8 should when I put my toe down
...I love it. It is rather large though, takes a bit of getting used to, even after driving the fairly sizable Mondeo MK3, this is in a different league though, in so many ways.
Amazing amount of car for less than £11k.
