Please god no... just no...

He wasn't given any chance at Pompie, Redknapp did was he does, spend 10's of mils on useless players, get one lucky player out of the lot, sell the best player in the team, sell some others, jump ship before it all falls apart. Redknapp and Sven are great at spending then running before it all falls apart.

THe team Adams was given to manage was crap with some of the best players injured while he was there(Kranjcar ran the attack and wasn't fit). There was no money, Crouch who could barely have one good game in 10, no strikers, no quality and the defence going from the last year Campbell could possibly play ok to being old slow, clumsy and a joke.

This is one of these posts that i fully expect to get shot down in flames! Make of it what you will. There is a guy on another message board who i am in regular contact with for footy related banter. Since the end of the season he has been in contact with someone who seems to know everything thats going on at City.
He told me about Hart being loaned out and Taylor coming in when no-one saw it coming. He had RSC as a done deal before it was confirmed in the press and also Citys contact with Tevez – a deal which he has said will be wrapped up early next week.
Anyway about a week ago i got an email from him saying “watch out for John Terry going to City, They are prepared to pay stupid money and Terry isn’t dismissing it”. He then emailed me in the middle of the week saying if Terry doesn’t get to talk to City he is going to hand in a transfer request. This morning i hear that Terry is rumoured to want to talk to City.
I fully TOTALLY understand why most people will say “bloody rubbish” and i probably would myself but this guy does seem to be spot on with other stuff. Certainly he has got enough right for me to say this story shouldn’t be dismissed. Time will tell but its interesting stuff.
As an aside he has also said that City are looking at a big move for an Arsenal striker who i reckon most Arsenal fans would be happy to see the back off!Anyway don’t shoot the messenger, i just thought i would share it anyway

This is now on Sky Sports News "breaking news" for what its worth.

Good, I really, really, really want Ade out. I've been thinking recently that he'll hinder Arsenal hugely if he stays next season. He needs to go.

Again shoot me down if you want but the guy that told me about the Ade move yesterday has also said they are looking at bidding for 2 other Arsenal players. Toure and Song, he thinks. NOT that they were likely to sign them or anything but that interest would be shown and bids placed.

Given the other stuff he has said it will be interesting to see if they do bid for them too. Cant see Arsenal being so willing to do business for them?

just been told that Alonso has actually put in a tfr request.. if its true and he leaves i wish him the best, quality player and a gent.

wheres the quote in the Liverpool Echo article from Alonso saying "I want to quit", nothing even remotely close.
Everytime RM lower their price, Rafa should increase the asking, muppets.

Arsene has been trying to get rid of Adebayor all summer but nobody will pay £20m+ anymore because he's been found out and it's been revealed that he's actually lazy and average, thankfully City don't really care about money.

I still think Rafa should let Alonso leave after how he treated him last summer.

What? For rejecting bids for him from Juve and possibly Arsenal? If Rafa was trying to get shot of Alonso like some make out then he'd be playing for Juve right now.

The majority of players have a price and had somebody offered us enough then we'd have been willing to let him go, no different from this season except the price has gone up.

He seriously ballsed that up. But Alonso is under contract and we should wait until Real Madrid meet the asking price or go away - anything less than £35m wouldn't be satisfactory in my opinion.

Only Rafa could come under fire for trying to sell an under performing player who regularly pulled out of challenges, misplaced countless passes and looked like he couldn't be bothered

Taarabt and Gunter off on loan apparently.

Taarabt's loan having the option to buy at the end of the season.

A shame as he has talent, but seems to try too hard to impress at times.

Selling lonso would be a disaster. The best passer of the ball we have and part of the "spine" of the team. Unless we line someone up to replace him, then avoid selling at any price.
