whats your resting heart rate?

50-55 ish when relaxed, 70-110ish when semi active or exited over something, 200+ when wearing myself out ( running like hell). Yeah I had to run at school with heartbeat meters.

When I was last tested it was 48bpm, but then I was in proper training back then. No idea what it is at present, but I'm still fairly fit.

When I tested a while back with my heart rate monitor (from just waking lying flat on bed, as it told me to do this to calculate a HRM) when I was doing a lot of cardio it was 46, more like 60 now I've not been doing as much.

Mine goes below 40 bpm when Im asleep.

I had to get my ICD reprogrammed from 40bpm to 35bpm pace threshold otherwise I kept waking in the the night feeling my chest muscles pulsing as it raised me above 40bpm

Around 55. I have horrible circulation unless I exercize frequently :/ Constantly cold hands and feet and a really low blood pressure as well as nearing dangerously low blood sugar levels.

Mine was ~60 but after 9 months of no exercise it went up to ~70 :o

Not checked recently though I guess it is somewhere in between.

Your resting heart rate should be taken when you first wake up in the morning and you haven't got out of bed yet.

At work I've got a 3D heart that is about 10 foot tall and you put a heart rate monitor on and it pumps at the same speed as your own.

Last year I had resting HR of 130 bpm, mind you was really ill for months, if I did anything, like stand up it would rise up to 160-180 bpm, was constantly sweating out of breath etc.
The plus side of this i managed to loose 2 stone in 4 weeks. ;)
After the NHS did there magic I now have a resting HR of 80 bpm.

PIC? :p

i want one

When you're sitting about 12 foot back with the 3D glasses it looks massive and I can also make it hit you in the face.
The picture on screen is of the lungs side on.
Using a gyro mouse I can take the body apart.
