hi,

Been doing a little research on a decent arcade stick, mainly for my PS3, but if i can get it to work on the PC, then all the better AND this may also influence my decision on which one to buy.. So here i am in the PC forum....

The way I see it, I have three choices.

1.\ Hori Real Arcade Pro 3

2.\ Madcatz Arcade Fight Stick and upgrade with Sanwa stick and buttons

3.\ Hori Fighting Stick 3

Which of these will work on the PC ? I've read that the HRAP 3 will work on a PC, but no-one has really confirmed it, from what Ive been reading, and on the other two? Well not much info at all... I'm guessing no, but ya never know !

If the regular Fight Stick 3 works on PC and PS3, then i could be tempted to go cheap and just get that, since it's readily available and half the price of the other two...

But seeing that the HRAP3 is the only one that says PS3/PC then i'd like to get that, since it has the quality I'm after and after upgrading the Mad-Catz, the same price.. Seen that it will be in stock on the 15th June.... but i believe it when i see it...

Is the Hori Real Arcade Pro 3, the only stick that'll work on my pc?

Running Vista Ultimate 32-bit... (do have dual boot XP SP3 if it doesn't work on Vista) Spec in sig.

My Hori FS3 worked flawlessly on my rig (Q6600, 8800GT, GA-EP35C-DS3R) running Vista Ultimate x64. Haven't tested my Madcatz TE or SE though.

Anyone able to confirm to me that the Madcatz SF4 SE works? Cos that is the most likely one i'm going for, since i have got the patience to wait for a HRAP3

I use an X-Arcade stick on my Arcade Cabinet with emulates a keyboard, so not sure if that's easier?

I think it also works on a PS3 but you might need to buy a special adapter, that's something you would need to read up on though. Really good stick none the less.

This is very relevant to my interests, i'm looking at the Hori Fighting Stick 3 as it's cheap and most people say that's it's good enough. If someone can confirm they have it working for the PC version of SF4 i will buy it

Just unpacked my Mad Catz Xbox 360-PC Street Fighter IV Arcade FightStick Tournament Edition just now, Awesome !

The Tournament Edition stick will be available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in the US on Feb. 17 for $149. The sticks aren't cross-console compatible but they will both work with the PC. Pre-orders have already sold out for the initial 3,000 unit launch allocation, but another shipment will arrive in late February according to Alex.

Ok so the cheaper versions should be no different.

yes i heard about that, that's why i'm thinking twice about the madcatz one's (plus the fact that many many people have complained of them breaking after a few weeks)

I was thinking of getting a Hori FS3, nice and cheap

FS3 is a great stick.

I'd wait for the new fight sticks:
