*** OcUK Official PC SFIV Tournament ****

Only reason I was rooting for Ryu was I heard Kens combos are too easy to pull off. I think Ryu was too scared of losing the by the end to be effective. ;)

Yea sure. It'd be great if others could record their matches too. I honestly think i'll get knocked out in the second round, but i'd still want to follow the tournament and watch future matches.
 
Yeah, it's a shame as no one has an excuse not to on the PC. It will be compulsory in the next tournament and anyone who signs up and doesn't record will get barred from future tournaments as it's a key part of making the tournament more interesting.
 
FRAPS records fine without impacting performance at 1024x768, 60fps, half size on my Opteron 165 (roughly Athlon x2 4000 equivalent), 2GB RAM, 8800GT. With a worse system, you could lower resolution to 800x600, and while it wont look as good to some, it's only for tourney matches, and wont affect your play.
As for FRAPS, you can get it from a lot of places...
There's an alternative called WeGame thats free, but it doesnt work on my system. Although it says it is SFIV compatible.

Does that mean you'll be staying with PC SFIV and doing more tournaments? :D

Yeah, I no longer have any lag issues online :)

And that's exactly my point with fraps, I believe you can use free alternatives too of the old free version of fraps and running at 800*600 has no effect on your ability to play.
 
Mangobreeder, we keep missing each other! I am going out now and I'm guessing you will probably come online about 6pm. I will however be back early today. I will be around from 8pm to 11pm so let me know if that's convenient for you.
