Anyone care about Single Player games anymore?

I just realized how little I look forward to single player games anymore.

I didn't even touch COD4 SP for months, jumped straight into MP. Even when I did start playing the SP, all I wanted to do was play more MP. All the games I've been addicted to in the past have all been MP games.

For me to get excited about a SP game these days it has to be either a GOW(god of war), GTA, MGS or something really different and unique.

Anyone else feel the same?

The only SP games I've completed in the past few years.

Dead Space
Shadow of The Colosus
GTA4
Bioshock
MGS4
God of War games

I still haven't touched cod4 single player, played a multiplayer game and never stopped :D
but yeah i generally look more forward to MP these days. Might get myself a nice long RPG or something though to get into.
 
I look forward to single player games more than multiplayer games tbh. But then one of the most important aspects of a game to me is the storyline so i guess that explains why.
 
Before BioShock I used to just play Multiplayer Games, COD4 e.t.c. but since I really look forward to them. Just working through Forza 2 Career this week.
 
Much prefer single player to multi, though I'm still enjoying the co-op in Resistance 2. I guess the main thing about sp for me is the story and plot development, as well as the ability to play at my own pace.
 
i only play SP, cant stand MP.

when patches or updates for games are released its such a kick in the balls to see that everything in the patch is all related to some silly MP. specs
 
Most multiplayers i have are usually quite laggy online (with the exception of fifa), so i usually opt to stick with the SP mode of that particular game.
 
Depends on the game i played the KZ2 MP for over a week until i started the SP game, but some games i just cant be bothered to play the MP, for example COD WAW. I prefer a great SP game rather than a great MP game, just dont get the chance to spend much time playing on line anymore.
 
I only play SP, multiplayer with people I don't know has never appealed to me apart from when I used to play Tribes on the PC.
 
Yeah I do, but only because I'm sick and tired of getting the "8002A548 An error as occured and you have been signed out of the PSN" thing.

It makes multi-player games nigh on impossible to get into as it just happens at random.

Iv done one at silverstone, because i wanted a nice big cash injection. Took me 45 minutes non stop, but i did feel quite attached to my lambo by the end, drove beautifully ;)
 
Play SP more than MP.

I DO enjoy MP games, and generally stick with the same crowd, but unfortunately finding a common ground where my XBL friends and myself have a 'good' hour or two spare is quite difficult.
