Worst pc gaming gadgets?

I know theres a ton of things to help enhance your game.
What stupidly sounding thing have you bought that failed badly or worked surprisingly well.
I just found this on a certain web retailer for £4

Stick and peel scopes for your monitor...

1stly how pointless! Surly this is no scope cheating?
Finally, a blob of blue tac is cheaper

would be useful on the last level of DOOM 2 (lv30)

i used to use a drymarker to draw a dot on my screen because you had to fire a rocket through a small hole whilst going upwards on a small platform (repeated 3 times to win level) whilst being attacked by... everything!

Basicly say your in cs on a scout/knives map, so you dont have to be in your scope and get stabed, you can stay zoomed out on weapons with no cross hair, about the only use. Definatly worth £4...*cough*

But you have to look at their attention to detail, it works for all consoles bar the wii where you point around, how smart of the very clever people who made this

Play CoD4 or CoD:WaW in hardcore mode and you'll see how quickly adding a little dot on the screen at the right point gives a large advantage. More so on a big screen where is can be a real git to mentally remember the right place.
