Hi the tv I have seen is a samsung 4 series it's a good price but the Hd is 720p? Will that be ok for sky HD. Sorry but i don't know a lot about HD
Our HD channels are broadcast in various degree's of HD anyway, so there's no worry
I.e some channels are not "true" HD quality
I'm pretty sure there have been some football matches in 1080p.
1080i is the highest quality they do. So none are 1080p. TBH I've seen very little difference between that and normal channels.
Where blu-ray is undoubtedly so much better. Very disappointed with sky hd.
Flicking between SD and HD channels showing the same program HD always looks better.
As already mentioned, you can't get Sky in full HD anyway (I'd assume due to bandwidth?).
Personally, I find that HD only makes a difference when you are watching a sport where a small ball moves quickly; tennis in HD, for example, is exceptional. Everything else is a bit meh.

Move closer to the set, have an eyetest to check your prescription, then setup your tv properly
The difference is huge, especially for sports like tennis, rugby, football etc. Eurosport HD is wonderful.
Naturally it would, as it's HD.![]()
