***Official*** OcUK Blood Bowl League

I played themanmoran tonight, his humans vs my skaven.

End result was a 3-0 win for the skaven, mainly due to some very unlucky dice rolls for the opposition.

Quite enjoyed it online, was lots of fun - thanks for the game!

Still think the big nasty S4 teams will pound me though!

I'm away in Cornwall until Sunday evening, so people who have yet to play will have a couple of extra days to get their games played.

If they still haven't been played by then I'll assign scores to those unplayed matches and move the league onto week 2. Most likely 1-1 draws but if a coach hasn't made any effort to arrange the match he's in I'll probably assign a 1-0 win to the coach who has been trying or was a no show for a previously arranged match time.

Unless someone has another method to deal with the unplayed games?

Very unlikely, I'm about to drive to cambridge where I'll be for the weekend :( I'll be bringing the laptop but i'm not sure how much of a chance I'll get to get this game played.
And sunday-friday I'll be stuck in the middle of nowhere on a training course without net access (unless you count plugging my phone into the laptop to get 1kb/s net speed -be faster to send binary code via smoke signals)
Still, I'll attempt it this weekend!
 
Do we just play one person at a time or can we play against someone else who is online when we log on?

No problem. I was intending on getting the game done this afternoon but my wifes school has sent people home because of a possible swine flu out break. Damn those piggies!!!!

Im about if you can make it. I will be up late if that helps. Tomorrow night I will be on the computer from 10pm till about 4am (as im on nights the next day)

Might even been able to play you whilst Im at work Monday or Tuesday after 8pm if thats any good to you.

Sorry, been unable to get online (using my phone at the moment!) i might have to forfeit as i don't think i can get online now until friday afternoon (2pm onwards) although i should be fine to get some games in next weekend.
I'd take my laptop to the nearest mcdonalds to steal wifi but the battery wouldn't last long enough :-(

Greki (RDM) vs The Mekon (Sutters)
Jim vs 13th (Rhaos)
Demon (Blood) vs Teknobry

So these games haven't been played yet for varied reasons. Looks like a couple might get played from looking at the new posts. Don't worry if you can't, I think I'll end the first week tomorrow morning just to keep things moving though.

I'll be assigning 1-1 draws to them all on Monday morning, apart from the Greki (RDM) vs The Mekon (Sutters) match because I haven't noticed them trying to arrange anything, apologies if they've been trading emails or whatever though ;)
 
Well... just played Damnations Fury and i'm sorry to say it but his network connection interrupted, thus giving me a win and both MVP's If you're going to play, guys, make sure your connection is a stable one otherwise you end up in a bad situation...
 
Was the connection trouble just before kick off? I've read a few people have had that problem, it may be a bug according to a few posts I've seen on the BB forums.

Looks like Damnations Fury has lived up to his name a quit the league though :eek:

Not sure how the game's league system will cope, probably fall over. I guess we'll see when I end week 1 tomorrow :)
