I think it's inspired as an idea.

It will bring a touch of humour to what is the most depressing TV show of the lot.

I personally hope he waltzes into the Vic with his goons, whips out an Uzi and sprays lead at Phil Mitchell in a slo-mo John Woo style shoot-out.
