My new pen

Nice pen you have there. I got a Faber Castell given to me on my 21st birthday. I have been surprised by how much i have used it (being a computer programmer).

Not sure i would pay £125 for a ball point as the refills are the same as you would put in a normal £5 parker. I will say though that a well designed pen does make writting a lot more bearable if you are writting for a long time (like 2 hours +)

True that, a bic 10p pen which constantly cuts out if you write too fast makes me writing look a lot worse than it already is.

I only use fountain or gel ink ones lol

It's not bad. The way I look at it is that it's just another piece of jewelery, when you think of it like that £125 isn't much really.

It's is no different to spending money on a watch for the design. Amazing how the masses cream themselves over a £5k watch here, but £125 for a pen get's nothing but ridicule.

I spend ages finding pens I like to use. If you pay a decent amount on one, you won't leave it lying around as you would a biro.
That said, I don't like the design of the OP's choice, but each to their own.

i don't understand the fascination with these fancy pens. my dad was given a £300 mont blanc complete ink well as a gift years ago, and it just sits in the cupboard. he just uses cheap bics and biros he pinches from hotels.

i mean it's just a pen ;)

the refill for this will be a standard parker will it not?
