Most Prized/ Desired Attribute in Opposite Sex?

It is perhaps pushing my luck somewhat, but I'd love to see a poll on this, but two polls in two days :o

So as per title, what do you value above all other attributes in the opposite sex or in a potential/current partner?

If a poll is allowed then I'll edit in a list later :)


I'll get the ball rolling:


Intelligence, for me is the thing I value above anything else in a partner and in my current gf.

Having a brain gap would be for me undesirable and I always seek an equal or better in this department as I like learning and tend to enjoy intellectual pursuits such as reading or political debate etc etc and I enjoy conversation about these things sometimes and would be sad if I couldn't share some of my interests and passions with a partner. I'm not making this up either, and she was surprised when I said this to her a while back as most guys say hot body or blue eyes or something tangible ;)




So OcUK, what about you?
 
Intelligence, had a number of GFs that were... not quite up to scratch in the intelligence department... was fairly boring on the whole...
 
it is very hard to choose just one feature, as an ugly old girl with a heart of gold wouldn't be ideal, and neither would a supermodel who was an absolute ****.

but if I had to choose, then I would say they should be a nice person.
 
Intelligence and personality, just for the reasons you mentioned. Some thick as **** bimbo would put me right off. However obviously there has to be a physical attraction as well.

In a long term relationship (thinking decades here) their looks are going to go downhill rapidly so that can't be the only decider.
