Songs for your funeral

really sorry to hear about your mum, condolences

City and Colour - Comin' Home

Machine Head -The Burning Red (really soft song)

Opeth - To bid You Farewell:

Stone Sour - Bother

Sorry if these are inappropriate, id probably choose opeth tbh.

As Dante mentions, I also want something at my funeral that will make people laugh, and say, yep, that’s Danny.

It's down to the individual person, and whether you want people to be sad and reflective.

Forever Autumn.

Far too bloody depressing, even for a funeral.

Personaly I say don't pick something just because it's sad etc, pick something she loved.

One thing people seem to think is the funerals have to be sad, they don't, or at least they don't have to inspire such horrible sadness, they can be times to remember people, and a good way of doing that is having something to remember them by, so a favorite song, or theme from a favorite movie can be perfect.

Personaly if I were to die any time soon, I would want this played.

The Cat Empire - No Longer There

Truly beautiful song.

Incubus - Pardon Me

*If it's a cremation.

Oh come on...

Adagio in G Minor - Bach

It might not be what you are after but its what I will have played at my funeral

Sorry to hear about your mum

Archive - Goodbye

More new age but still a nice one, bit sad too

George Michael - You have been loved

Beautifully touching song, very sad

Or my all time favourite song which seems to fit any and every possible situation:
Zero 7 - In the Waiting Line

Sorry youtube doesn't have a good video for it, only crappy live versions. But the original version is totally perfect

p.s. Sorry for your loss :( Very sad indeed
