Is there a plan to release World at War 2 to rival Modern Warfare 2?

I would love to play in the Autralian, Canadian, and Indian perspective in their respective campaigns.

Thanks :)

WoW2 will be out next year, they would never release 2 Cods' at the same time. They want to milk each one as much as possible.

I don't much rate COD as a SP game anymore either. In modern or WW2 format. It's tired, the AI on both the enemy and team mates is way behind nearly every shooter out there. WaW was far better than MW1 as a SP experience. Yet because it wasn't made by IW it was written off before it even started.

The multiplayer on them though just works almost flawlessly. It's like two completely different levels of experience. I will end up buying it probably just for that. A bigger and better zombie mode and basically a whole bunch of new maps.

All I remember from the AI of W@W in single player is hearing *tink* *tink* *tink* every 2 seconds as they fufilled their life goal of saturating every piece of cover with 3,4 or 5 grenades. It was a **** poor experience to be honest.

But I do agree, the single player experience is CoD is just a case of running between pretty set pieces while dealing with **** poor infinite spawning AI. The whole mechanic is tired and it really needs shaking up.

It was the same for MW.No matter where you were the AI could land a grenade right at your feet.Having to throw a grenade back or run like crap from one got very boring.

During the release year of WAW the developers said that WAW would be the last game they make before they split themselves from the COD franchise.

Yup I agree, I think that people think its cool to **** off WAW because its Treyarch even though WAW is exactly the same as COD4 just in a different setting

Treyarch have consistently made terrible games - CoD 3 being the worst.

WAW uses the same engine as CoD4 and they made it worse. I play both on the PC and WAW is the buggiest piece of **** ever. You can't even minimise without it crashing. All they had to do was make a few new models and levels - all the technical work had been taken care of for them, but no.

Don't get me started on map design.
