I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any MP3 managers that will automatically sort out the files by the foldername which your MP3's are kept in, i'm not even sure if there is an easy way of doing it though Windows Media Player or something? I have something similar already running for my movies where all i have to do is put my movie file into a folder and name the folder with the film that i've put in it, it then goes on and downloads the film descition, cover art and renames the video file accordingly....is there anything out there that does the same thing for MP3 albums?

Cheers

Cant you just sort them in windows explorer then drag them into a winamp playlist or something?

I hate iTunes too. Ive been using Winamp 2.5e from october 1999 since then. Its the fastest, plays tracks instantly and doesnt have any delay. I have tried many other versions of winamp and other software and nothing comes close IMO

It would be a very long process to do it all manually through windows explorer especially considerring i've got 75gb worth of music :(

Ive got 400gb of music. cds are organised like this (folders) Just drag and drop files into folders and folders into other folders

HipHop
Dance > house, trance, hard house, hard trance, psy trance...
Rock
Random
Chillout
Blues
D&B
Dub Step

i'm also looking fpr something that will download the album covers and sort out the file names amd so on? if there is such a thing

If anyone has actually used any of the software mentioned in the above posts to do the same thing i'm after can you give me a quick idiots guide? :)
