Hi :D

Got my new car today, we've now got a baby on the way so a Z4 and a 328ci are probably not the most practical things to have. The Z4 is staying but I'll be selling the 328ci. I've been looking about for a while and found this car which seemed too good to be true, 1 owner from new then the auto box went and a BMW technician bought it for his wife and replaced the box and the front wishbones for his wife, who then didn't like the sport suspension so he sold it to me. :)

It's a 325i Sport (shut up Fox, find me a similar 330i sport for this price ;) ), has some nice extras like CD Player, Hi-Fi (which is pretty good!), heated seats, roof bars, a nice aftermarket bluetooth kit and all the usual sport extras. The wheels have a bit of corrosion but a friend of mine has a powdercoating place and will help me out there. Apart from that it's pretty much immaculate - one tiny door opening dent on the nearside front wing which a dent guy should have no problem removing, but being on a silver car it's hardly noticeable. Inside is superb. I'm really happy with it so far and surprised how good it is compared to SE models I'd been looking at.

Anyway, some pics:

It cost me £5000 exactly, hopefully will last a few years as our workhorse car. :)

EDIT: I forgot the M badges:

Nice little motor for 5k you have there mate, not bad at all and sounds like a decent spec which is unusual :)

nice find!

congrats on the full leather too, these seem to be really hard to find for some reason :/

Bargain for 5k imho always loved the look of the sports tourings, not a big fan of the wheels though.

Yeah I'm not sure about them, I will have to take off the tyres for a refurb of the wheels so I might choose something different, but it's really got to be these or MV2s I think. The tyres it came with are almost new Michelin Pilot Sports which is a bonus. Whoever owned this car originally really cared about it I think.

Much prefer the MV2's but i'm sure some won't agree, it looks very well looked after just had a quick look on pistonheads and can't really find anything that comes close, cheapest 330i i can find that had nav etc 92k on the clock sold for 6k but was a 2001 i think.

i like that lots, but then thats not surprising for me. I'd happily have a 3'er sport touring.
i'm not a fan of the MV1's, but have grown used to them since my car has them (though they are in crap condition!)

great buy imo :]

the curious side of me would want to know why it was so cheap, but non the less, looks like a steal for £5k, i hope it all works for you :)

I think that looks amazing. Even in silver which isn't the colour I'd have it looks good. I'd have one of those in a minute for 5k even it was just for carting the bikes to and from places.

It's 6 years old, got high mileage, it's had a new auto box and wishbones, a lower mileage one of the same age would probably be worth 2k more I'd say. The seller probably couldn't be more genuine though and yes I do think I was lucky to find it. OllyM was partly to blame as I was looking at SE tourings and he suggested to look for a sport then I found this one.

£2k and the rest i would bet, just had a look for auto diesel sports and they are a fair bit more than what you paid :p

good work on having the new box in it, how many miles has it done?
