LucasArts' physics-powered Star Wars action game The Force Unleashed will hit the PC and Mac for the first time with this holiday's "Sith Edition."

The Sith Edition is set to include all past DLC for the title, plus a Hoth level exclusive to the package. The special edition will also make an appearance on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with Aspyr Media handling the Mac/PC port. Click through for all the details on the Sith content:

was pretty decent game on PS3 what i tried ...
 
Oh I see....that took a while. Thought it was a pale shadow of Jedi Knight when I played it on the 360, but it might be better on the PC I guess.
 
Ha, yeah they said they wouldnt ever put it on the pc due to it needing somit only consoles could do i think 3 cores min or somit.

Still have wanted to try this game so i guess were getting a chance to play it. :)

Yeah, too bad they never continued the series past Alliance (although Tie Fighter was the pinnacle of the series) and instead opted to make that Starfighter crap instead :mad:

Played this on the Xbox, it was a fun diversion but nothing particulary special in my eyes. Might pick this up in the future though if the DLC offers anything decent.
 
excellent news! Had it on the PS3 and loved every minute of it, even though I thought I would not. I personally thought that this was better than, or at least on par with the jedi knight games. The force powers and saber techniques are very good and implemented, I think, better than in the jedi knight games.

Traded my copy in but was thinking of buying this again for the DLC. Now this is coming on the PC, will get on this instead.

Don't get your hopes up as gameplay wise this is pretty boring. Its just endless combat using the force powers & deciding which to upgrade. No variety and only 10 short levels on 360. Best part is the highly cinematic part where you use your force powers to take down something big + some of the ILM rendered cutscenes are sweet looking but this is not a patch on Jedi Outcast :(

Also the big worry is that Aspyr are known to have pretty bad PC support and sell PC games which never get fixed like Dark Sector PC was outsourced by them to a cheap Russian sub-contractor and does not even include proper widescreen support in 2009 :eek: (only has proper FOV on 4:3 displays) or any MP support.
 
Now this is hitting the bargain bins for consoles and plenty of used copies around even cheaper, I wonder how much they're going to charge PC gamers for it?
 
meh, good game but nothing on jedi outcast.

TBH I think that T.O.R will be the ultimate decider for how new-gen star wars games will be seen.

I just want a new jedi knight dammit. Played the demo of the force unleashed on the ps3 and as most of you have said, it has nothing on the jedi knight series.
