How do you mean m8? Like red plugs should have red shrink and black plugs black shrink etc?

I think the the white braid / white heatshrink with the red plugs look really good - much better that the normal black/black/red.
Reminds me of Geisha makeup or Mondrian paintings - very striking.

Was the hue of the blue heatshrink that I don't like againest both the black plugs and dark blue braid.
Just think that black heatshrink might 'hide' the joint instead of advertise it. But as I said above this is
due to seeing it against a white background and out of context.

I'm just looking at the mobo and braiding next to each other on screen. The heatshrink matches the SATA
and Ram/PCI-e slots nicely and the Braid is more in keeping with the pcb/heatsinks.

So when installed it should complement the mobo perfectly :D

I do still think the shrink to match/complement the plug is underused as an idea, and that the light blue shrink 'jumps out'
but as every your choice is spot on. Sorry for doubting you. :o

What about... since the 24 and 8-pin connectors on the board are white, change the colour of the black plugs to white to match those?

Hehe yeah!

A little update - 4th (yes 4th) PA120.3 arrived today:cool: which will be sprayed up white to match the other three. I can then finally get cracking with the install :D

Stunning, can't say I was a huge fan of the other stuff you've did but this is just beautiful so far, cannot wait to see the final outcome. Reminds me I need to lose the age old P180 and make something beautiful myself.

You could paint the visible parts of the sockets on the mainboard i suppose. Ive not tried painting that kind of plastic so maybe its not possible, you would need good eyesight and a steady hand but it could be an option to achieve colour perfection :p

As for the braiding, well done!...

I would get half way though and snap a connector or something and look like the guy from the "FFFUUUUUUUUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu" thing :p

Sorry for the lack of updates guys. Got a lot going on in my life at the moment but won't be long before I can crack on with this.

I have seen a few white painted cases recently and they have all looked very good, this just looks WOW, nice one w3bbo :).
Saweeet rig m8 uber bad a**, its funny I have the patience to build a case but not so with perfect cables hehe, looks worth doing thou.

those Enermax fans look 100% excellent...take a look at their website!

white interior looks good too... white and blue go together really nicely

Just took a look at enermax range of fans they do look great with plenty of innovation too, I like the way they pull air from the sides and a switch for the leds and can even click the blades out for cleaning they seem amazing fans .
I just bought 7 akasa apache's :(, oh well they are still good fans, great airflow vs noise ratio and I can paint them :D.
Got to say white may have a place for my new case, looks so refreshing :)

white is best for me because it goes well with bare Ally ...i might fit blue painted fan grills over mine........

but i dont like the blue LED fans i have now, they screw up my eyes, but pure white is much more user friendly, i might paint other areas inside white too; i'll have to wait and see

i dont want to go crazy though, otherwise i'll have to fit white sleeving over the cables/wiring too.........clean and tidy is what i'm aiming for

Where's the updates W3bbo?

Question for you as well actually. The fan controllers you are using take 3 pin fans but the fans are 4 pin I believe? Are you just connecting them as is or do they come with a adapter to make the fans into 3 pin fans?
