I am all for tolerance and respect of other peoples beliefs but this just seems a little silly to me.

It should be a 2-way street. If British establishments tolerate the wearing of a headscarf in official or otherwise business then surely the converse should apply that British persons should not have to adhere to wearing one when they do not normally.

If the female police officers involved do not have an issue with it then I do not see a problem, however it should be purely optional - Not mandatory.

2: I understand about respect etc. If i visit a relgious site ill try and respect there wishes, however these are police officers in Britain....

I think its about time we start shipping these ethnics back to where they came from. This is England, we can fart in a synagogue, we can take a dump in a Hindu temple and we dont have to wear a headscarfe in a mosque. Im fu**ing livid about this, we need to get rid of them Gay priests aswell. See our religion is in the gutter whilst we have to "show respect" to other religions. How can you be Gay and be a priest, thats just disgusting, its competly against Christianity and most of the Englsih are loosing all respect for our religion while these, moslem, jews and hindus are taking over.
