ebay false bidder

I've just had the same problem. Sold my e71 for £160 with a best bid offer. The peson has an 87 rating so not new. Sent an invoice followed by 6 or 7 email in the last ten days but have not had a thing from them. Contacted ebay to cancel the transaction and have been told i have to wait 7 days to see if they respond. Wtf 7 days. There having a laugh. Been over two weeks now and still nothing. Think i'll stick it in the local shop window and see what happens.

Can you not just click the drop down menu for the item and select "report unpaid item" or similar?

I had to wait till the 27th before i could do that. Decided to do a cancel transaction and mention that the users account could have been hacked but ebay have sent me an email to say they have contacted the buyer and i've got to wait 7 days before they can do anything. Great big bunch of w**k if you ask me. I've sold loads on ebay including phones and laptops before and never had this problem.

screw selling on ebay these days, it's alright for buying stuff but you still need to be careful.

Lol. Your right he could have dropped dead. But as long as they cancel the transaction and refund me the fees then i'll be happy. Could have been worse to be honest.
