I find it hard to believe that you think the issue with Muslims is purely down to their religion. It's the same reason why the "Muslim is not a race" comments get so tiresome. If Muslims were majority white as the Christians (in this country) are, would there be the same problem? (No is the answer).

I also find it hard to see how you can actually comprehend this to not have race involved, considering the "ethnics" comments made and the standard "Send em' back!" remarks. You must be in such denial due to the face that most Muslims are either Arabs or Asians that you think race doesn't come into it. Don't apply such innocence to a thread which is now ten pages long and pretend it doesn't somehow have xenophobia and racism mixed in. Utter nonsense.

I'd offer to suggest that its because you're more offended by that remark than god knows what else has been written in this thread but I'm sure you're too busy frothing at the mouth at the prospect of Muslims getting treated equally and fairly in this country.

As if Muhammed is sitting on a cloud watching millions of muslims to see if they are wearing a scarf.

What is even dafter is that people not following that religion have to do it as well now.

@Chimerical, here in The Netherlands there are already large cities like Rotterdam where >50% of the population are immigrants/muslims and the #1 name given to babies is Mohamed and the #3 name is Mohammed :(

So basically the force are being forced to wear these headscarfs so that they can enter mosques in order to do their job?! :rolleyes:
