4870 no, 4890 no, 275 no, 280 no, 285 no, 4870x2&295 borderline playable at 1920x1200.
No, I'm not expecting 100fps. I'm expecting 40-60 fps that feels smooth and something like 280 is faar faar away from that, as are all the other 1 GPU cards. Those 2 GPU cards are somewhat better but the minimum fps is still terrible.
Now I don't know how well/bad Crysis is coded but it's nearly 2 years old and still doesn't run well, there's certainly something wrong with the game or the cards. I remember how Oblivion didn't run well at all but 2 years later it was easy to get solid fps numbers in it. With Crysis, that has not happened.
mhh im not sue about you but i can play crysis on ultra high with 4870 perfectly fine i guess u using e2200
That's what a lot of people say. My own experiences and all the tests various sites have done all tell a different tale. In the past year I've tried the game with a 4870, GTX260, GTX280 with [email protected] and now Q9550@4GHz and it just doesn't run well with any combination. I've tried it in XP, 32-bit Vista, 64-bit Vista and now 64-bit Windows 7. Warhead was even worse even though they more or less promised it to run better.. well it really didn't.
It all depends what people define as fine, I personally have no problem playing FPS's at 30fps, but I know lots of people freak when it dips below 60fps.
Well it wont play fine on mine maxed out with a qx6800 @ 3.6 and a 4870x2.If you can put crysis every setting on very high and play the game to the end and never see it slow down thats what i call playing it perfectly fine.I played crysis again and just completed it and had to run the settings all on high and believe me i could see the frame rate drop plenty at that setting.mhh im not sue about you but i can play crysis on ultra high with 4870 perfectly fine i guess u using e2200
