Nvidea gtx300 series

source or fail

ps: 4870 , 4890 ,4870x2 , 275 , 280 , 285 ,295 rapes crysis already

4870 no, 4890 no, 275 no, 280 no, 285 no, 4870x2&295 borderline playable at 1920x1200.

No, I'm not expecting 100fps. I'm expecting 40-60 fps that feels smooth and something like 280 is faar faar away from that, as are all the other 1 GPU cards. Those 2 GPU cards are somewhat better but the minimum fps is still terrible.

Now I don't know how well/bad Crysis is coded but it's nearly 2 years old and still doesn't run well, there's certainly something wrong with the game or the cards. I remember how Oblivion didn't run well at all but 2 years later it was easy to get solid fps numbers in it. With Crysis, that has not happened.

That's what a lot of people say. My own experiences and all the tests various sites have done all tell a different tale. In the past year I've tried the game with a 4870, GTX260, GTX280 with [email protected] and now Q9550@4GHz and it just doesn't run well with any combination. I've tried it in XP, 32-bit Vista, 64-bit Vista and now 64-bit Windows 7. Warhead was even worse even though they more or less promised it to run better.. well it really didn't.

It all depends what people define as fine, I personally have no problem playing FPS's at 30fps, but I know lots of people freak when it dips below 60fps.

sry for taking long to reply but i was called away:mad:

early 2010 release, not exactly sure about the exact date.

and it raped crysis in tests with everything on full even AA etc
got 87fps and without the AA 90fps

at highest res:eek:

as for costs im not sure
the power im not sure but they think it would be slightly higher than the gtx280 series

found out the video was fake, go figure:mad: sry guys, got my hopes up to:(

anyway thats all i know for sure;)

Crysis on very high has the most realistic and accurate motion blur I've seen in any game and makes 30fps look incredibly smooth.

60fps in Crysis looks rediculously smooth, almost nauseating ... not usually a problem though cos it's such a rare occurance. :p

i feel so so sry for pple who have around 40fps:eek::eek::eek: with crysis on full at highest resolution, it must be so pianful for you to have around 40 frames every second. CMON!!!!!!!!!!!

im on a 1.9GHZ AMD 64x2 with the worst graphics card ever(laptop)

and i cant even play F.E.A.R or fallout 3 or any of the great games!!!

so all u pple who complain about getting 50fps or 40fps on crysis on high SHUT UP!!

im finished:D

Well it wont play fine on mine maxed out with a qx6800 @ 3.6 and a 4870x2.If you can put crysis every setting on very high and play the game to the end and never see it slow down thats what i call playing it perfectly fine.I played crysis again and just completed it and had to run the settings all on high and believe me i could see the frame rate drop plenty at that setting.
