Do you shake hands at work?

Shake hands upon initial meeting = acceptable
Shaking hands after not seeing a mate for a few years = acceptable
Hugging a mate after not seeing them for a few years = borderline homo-eroticism
Shaking hands every day = homo-eroticism

I tend to grunt at people at about 8 o clock when I start in mornings. I dont tend to start speaking properly until at least 11 until 3 then start grunting at people again after 3 when its coming up for the end of the day.

Only when I worked with the Polish, its what they do whenever they meet you. Yes it feels odd at first but that soon stops.

I have the pleasure of interviewing little spotty chavs who are applying . .Joy..

i have to shake their hand when meeting and leaving :/ Wash straight after tbf ..

I tend to shake hands on the Friday evening at the end of the week to wish everyone a good weekend. But not to everyone. I also shake hands after people have been away on holiday (or if I've been away) just to say hello and catch up. It's a little random but I don't mind doing it, it's friendly. :)

Have a bowl of acid nearby. Surely it must be standard practice to have chavs wash their hands in a mild form of acid before they shake hands with people before an interview?

:p

Though my boss and i had a high five today because we worked out an advertising thing we have been working on for a few weeks. That felt awkward after :(

I just had the image of you high fiving then kinda avoiding eyes shuffling feet and clearing your throat then a "I'll be going then..." xD
