Long story short I ordered a good few footy shirts from these guys and after a few weeks received 2 of the 5 I ordered. I thought this was odd but it turned out they were out of stock and I chose to wait. However over the course of 6weeks they never got the stock in, according to their customer services dept.

At this point I asked simply to be refunded my money, but apparently there was some issue that arose and it couldn't be refunded to my debit card (this has never occurred before or since.) No problem though, they offered to refund through paypal if I sent them a money request. Im nearly into week 2 of my SECOND money request. I leave the country soon and need the money so its starting to do my head in a good bit.

I placed my order on the 22nd April, just to show you how pants its been. What should I do? They just seem to say they're refunding and not actually do it. Thing is i'd assume im getting ripped off but they're a big company I havent heard complaints about.

Contact head office by email, then by writing if they dont offer a solution.

The e-mail they provide re-directs mail to customer service and though they list an address it is for their store, I wouldnt be sure it'd be someone who could actually help me, more likely it would be ignore?

Shall i just name and shame or is it against the rules? I forget

Was it a Visa debit card?

If so contact your bank to start a chargeback.

The company is uksoccershop.com, I had only heard good things, has anybody had problems with them before? This is really starting to annoy me how they're treating me, would have splashed quite a bit of money on them over the years too, their loss i guess.

Are you dealing with them by email or phone? Always best to speak to them if only emailing at the moment.

Just e-mail, they dont offer a telephone number. Whole thing is quite surprising as they seemed a big company, found hundreds of complaints online now of the same thing occuring. Taking it to Trading standards now, anyone know if im meant to complain to my local branch of the closest branch to where they're based?

Anyone who has the ability to charge your bank card has the ability to transfer that money back into your account whether that be via reversal or a simple BACS... If they say otherwise it's BS and bureaucracy.

If you did not pay via Paypal then do not accept a refund via Paypal, you will lose out if you withdraw the money back out.

Yeah i figured the whole refund through paypal thing was fishy, this is what first got me concerned about the whole matter.

*Nevermind, think i've found the right people now

Seems they can't do anything for me as I used a maestro debit card, they simply advised I go to small claims court. The amount was only 140pounds or so and 2 of the 5 shirts were actually delivered. I take it I shouldn't bother and just build anger up inside? Bit crap they clearly conned me and have done the same to others yet the authorities won't do a thing.

Thought people may want an update, I contacted the Hamilton Trading Standards office via e-mail at around 3.30pm yesterday. By 4pm a rep got back to me, asked for some additional details and said he'd do his best to sort it, at 6.30pm I had an e-mail saying I've been refunded. The money isn't in my account yet but im hopeful it will be soon. If its an genuine e-mail thats pretty exceptional work.

*And do yourself a favour and avoid the gits!

Glad you got it sorted. Next time don't stand for it and go and ovary punch the bunch of gits.

I'll be sure to steer clear of them...

Thanks deuse, probably wouldn't have bothered trying Hamilton until you said it too. (sorry but you aint getting half!) :)
