TGI Fridays?

As long as you are not paying its all good ;) (Went there for one company meal thing, was quiet good but good thing the company picked up the tab ;))

Ok well I think were gonna go, doesent sound too bad, and tbh I have been there before quite a few years ago and I remember it being quite nice? But I was quite young.

Im not after a AAA meal and dont mind paying abit of a premium, either way we will be pretty drunk so Im sure it will be tasty :O) and if not Ill be sure to come back to GD and totally slate them!

hmm steak and a BJ?
interesting.....
Id suggest it but she would kick off, but Im sure after a bottle of wine or 2 ;)

i wish there was texas de brazil in uk :(

No doubt it isn't as good as in America but there is one of these in Northampton and one in Milton Keynes now too: http://www.rodizios.co.uk/index.html

I went to the one in MK a few weeks back and it was ok, meat was very good when it came but that kind of service means you can be waiting a while for the bbq to come round.

As for TGIF, I agree that it is kind of overpriced for what it is but I have found the quality of the food to be better than you'd get in the other average chain places (Frankie & Bennies, Nandos, Pizza Hut that were mentioned). The atmosphere is usually good but it depends a lot on the staff, went to one in America that was dire. Haven't been to one for a while though.

Went here yesterday for lunch (Mk one), they have become really slow and bringing the meat out. The buffet is good though.

It depends, the ones I have been to in this country haven't been as good as the ones I have been to in other countries, but yes I would agree with your work peoples that its not worth it in this country, go to a smaller independent place and get decent food.

TGI Fridays is crap, at least the one in Glasgow is, anyway. Although, if you're a looker the pervy creeps that work there will give you free food on occasions. As my mrs and her mate found out. :D

Nandos is pretty good for simple chicken stuff.
Pizza Hut is for people who want to be fat and therefore drink grease.
Frankie and Bennys was okay the 2 times I went.
TGI Fridays was crap in Covent Garden.

If your eating in cheltenham then I'd suggest morans on the bath road can't remember the prices but think they were a tad higher than TGI's. However great food and a decent pint. Never really been a fan of TGI's.

Id rather go find a beefeater and have a mixed grill tbh. Put that with a few pints and breaded mushrooms to start and you can't go wrong.

The big double burger fron Frankie Bennies is godlike. And then followed by cinnamon waffle crunch YUMMMM
