I can't really understand the insistance that it must be a small cat. If it was so obviously a small cat, the man wouldn't have bothered filming the damn thing in the first place and it wouldn't have made it to the BBC news page

More or less what I said a few pages back

Imo it's a really large wild cat or something, not like a "big" cat such as a cougar or puma but something certainly bigger than a housecat or the average wild cat

By that logic bigfoot exists because it's been on the news.

Don't be silly Mr. Tefal, there's quite a difference between a few blurry images and a video capture of larger than ordinary cat.

I'm not even saying that it is a 'big cat', just that I don't understand the insistance on it being very likely to be a 'small one'.

I agree with most of that it is certainly not panther/cougar size.But I still think it's just a large tomcat. As they can get very big.

This is the problem I have with people thinking they know how big the animal is, or indeed a house cat, we've heard people say it's 2x, 3x, 5x the size etc...

No, i think it looks roughly 2-3 times the size of a large house cat.

It doesnt look Lion/Tiger sized obviously and probably isnt as big as an adult panther but it is certainly not a regular domestic cat.
