Edit 2: Well the lag is much better than SFIV and it has quarters mode :) Need to grab 6 OcUKers with mic's to give this a go.

I'm in, but I am only available after 12pm til Friday.

Use to play this a lot but not really competatively so don't know any team combos or anything.
 
I think I will buy this later. Are the moves as tough to pull off as the recent SF or easier? I'm not too bad once I get used to it.
 
No, the dragon punches are far easier than Hyper Fighting on the XBLA.

The moves are really easy to pull off on SFIV if that's what you mean though, and it really can't physically get any easier than that.
 
Thanks, just had a go on the demo. Seemed pretty decent so far, I somehow managed to finish 2p off with all 3 characters. The cast seems really good so will probably pick it up later.
 
No sure if its me but does anyone else get a slight lag on the Vs screen just before a match starts and the odd sound effect distortion while in game?
 
there seem to be a lot of problems with the game during the selection screen and before battles, it seems to get slowdown and some things fade out slower than they should, it still plays great but i wish they had done something about this because it makes it feel like its badly emulated

another thing that annoys me is the way that some of the stages have missing parts at the edge of the screen in widescreen mode, playing as jin or strider is annoying with the widescreen too because strider will just stay in mid air instead of clinging to the side of the screen and most of jins moves are cut off

i know it couldnt be avoided without redrawing some sprites but why include a screen mode that makes the game seem so imcomplete? they could have at least included some artwork to fill the black areas when people play in 4:3 mode

Noticed that too, this game could do with a patch
 
Does anyone know if you could have another person controlling the other two characters (ie a guest) on Live?
 
Yeah I know but was thinking it would be cool if your guest could use the swapped one, guess not then! I'm going to buy it but I've been busy all evening so may only get 30 mins on it, up at 6am tomorrow :(
 
I must say I'm not a huge fan of combo-centric games like this. I'd rather use my intelligence to win, such as baiting and mind games like in SFIV.

I can do Magneto's infinite (about 30% of the time) but it feels lame.
 
This is such a mess, had it crash a few times and when I've failed to join a game or a player left it boots me back to a screen that I can't do anything on so I have to reboot. Mine just locked up again after the loading screen and went to a black screen.

Can't believe this made it to release in this state, oh and whenever I try to join a ranked match it's very lucky if I manage to connect rather than get the message "Game is full blablabla"

Quick match often says no games can be found yet loads of them show up when searching for a custom game, it's also ridiculous how you join a lobby yet the host chooses not to start the game for ages so I have to go and find another game. (this happens in SF IV too but at least that has the ready status)

Wish I never bought it.
