Check out these 2 amazing yatch designs

Interesting....not as beautiful as the 150 foot yachts in the harbour here though....mine games, 24karat, mustang sally are a few of my favourites...

I was based down in Plymouth for over 4 years and never saw anything even remotely as good looking as the yachts in the OP.

But having said that I used to score with women down on union street :p

Am just a little bit south-west of Plym at the mo.....a long-haul flight away :D

We've just had La Grand Bleu at the island for a few days - at it's construction, was the 6th biggest in the world, not something like 14th.

370ft, purchased by Abramovich and gave to his friend!

Unfortunately I wasn't cool enough to be invited on, but uncle and other top dogs of the island were.

Will upload some pics - the Sunseeker on it, and 6.5 million sailing yacht on one side, look rather fun..........

Schöpfer Yachts was founded in 2008 as a US based company dedicated to the pursuit of advanced yacht aesthetics and technology.

Schöpfer Yachts is among a new breed of yacht companies, which will secure strategic alliances with the world’s finest naval architects and shipyards.

This strategy will allow the flexibility to explore a wide range of design venues while insuring these designs meet and exceed the highest level of maritime standards.

To that end, we are pleased to announce that Sparkman and Stephens (New York, Ft. Lauderdale and Newport) will be the naval architect for our first venture, the Oculus.

As we enter the next generation of yachting design, we offer our design collection to the global yachting community and to prospective owners who share our vision of innovation and excellence.

Still a long way off saying how it will have to be designed/engineered/detailed drawings produce and then go through classification.

A good friend visits Monaco once a year, and goes out on the Wally 118.

I thought she was pulling my leg, until she sent me a photo of her on it!

Nice one!! would even be a dream to see that!

Yatch, interesting.

I saw a Spanish guy wandering round (in Spain) with a t-shirt on with a picture of a boat, saying "Yatch Club". I do hope he was oblivious.

Disgusting IMO.

I used to work in the superyacht industry and have been on board over 100 megayachts (many, 100m+ @ over $300m in cost).

However the design of them has slowly worsened to me, but I have a more "classical" approach to what a yacht should be. Ultimately I also feel they should have sails - however I was blown away by being on a 85+m yacht, doing over 36 knots thanks to it's big gas turbine. That was pretty impressive. :)

I've worked on LGB, and the rest of his fleet. But since his divorce LGB kept with Mrs A. Ecstasea I think has been sold, not sure about Pelorus and his "new" yacht.

LGB is still owned by Eugene Schvidler, given to him by Abramovich

Captain said it costs over $11 million a year to keep it going, and had a crew of 50 when the visited Scilly a few days ago.

To keep 6 guests looked after
