So OS X doesn't support WPA2 wireless??

I thought it would, it is a choice on my sisters Mac laptop. Oh well a little weird, but her "Machead" boyfriend said it doesn't. Why would WPA2 be a choice in her wireless settings??

It does. Her fella's wrong. Surely you can see that from the fact you've seen it on your sister's mac?

I haven't seen it, she has said it before, but I think it is odd. As I have seen in this thread "he is wrong", it worked with WEP 2 years back & prob. working with WPA, no complaints yet. Anyway, she freaks about any of the family touching it, so I haven't yet. Accept when lightening got my ethernet port a few years back, she was at work. :) WPA works, she needs the next version for WPA2.

He's not a "Machead" really, he's proven that by saying that OS X doesn't support WPA2.

I have my Macbook Pro (OS 10.5) and a macbook (OS 10.4) connected to my Time Capsule using WPA2

Working here on a 2006 MBP and a 2009 Mini. He's talking crap.

Old PPC macs might not support it, but the Intel machines certainly do.
