Hi
This is my first post in this part of the forums. My 360 has just got the Red Rings of Death again.
About a year ago the 360 started to overheat; my Dad decided he could fix it himself and took the top off; he couldn't fix it himself and we tried to send it off to Microsoft; but they sent it back saying that we had voided the warranty. We left the 360 for a few days and put it the other way up. And it started to work again.
About a month ago it got the Red Rings of Death and we sent it away to this company that put an X-Clamp thingy on it. We got it back and it all worked fine... Until now. A few days ago when we tried to start it up the red rings came up; we turned it on and off and it works again. This happened most of the time we started it up. But we started it up yesterday and the 3 red rings came up. We tried restarting it several times and it wouldn't go away. We then left it to cool overnight and most of today and it still doesn't work. We found out that the error code for it was 0020; which is "unknown, possibly overheating".
Anyone got any ideas or suggestions on a fix??
Thanks
