Best way to apporach women on a night out?

Talk to them about something they have on them or are doing. Usually works well...

example - I walked upto the bar to buy a drink, there was a fit girl. I noticed she has an overly sized party popper (looked like a firework). I made a silly comment about it, made her laugh and she started telling me, why she had it, etc.

Then to top it all off! she forgot her drink at the bar! I walked over, "Did you not want this?" so then I looked like a hero!! Asked her where she was going afterwards and saw her later out and about on that night :)

Brilliant stuff! Couldnt of had better luck that night :p
 
Make eye contact. If there's a bit of interaction through eye contact it's the first step. If you're in a position to be a gent ie at the bar and She's there tell her since you're already at the bar what can you can get her. Make a joke or a witty comment about her choice of drink ask her if she's out with friends and if she's celebrating anything in particular. If you have a prime location or seats offer her and her friends to join you. Or after buying her a drink just say you look forward to be able to look after her again. Or something like that. Play it cool if she's not interested just be cool and nonchalant about it and get back to having fun with your friends.

I normally just get drunk, then I seem to talk much better to random fit girls.

If you are asking a forum, chances are your not going to improve much. It all about confidence...

I envy people that just have that knack of talking to a random girl and doing a good job of it...

Some people just have the natural chat, most people its more of a challenge

Also remember, you dont have to be that good looking, as long as you are confident, funny and a good talker/listener you will stand a good chance of getting with some lass than a "fit" lad with no chat

just say hi or hello etc. If she responds favourably talk to her, if she doesn't just make a positive comment about her (nice dress, nice top etc) and walk away smiling.
 
On a serious note if you just play it cool and don't show any interest the women will think "hey why isn't that guy interested in me? I'll go talk to him" Women are very strange, i think their brains are wired backwards :)
