Your land is mine... WTF

I dont think so,

Read your history, if you can find it...

The Jews where banished by god from that land a long time ago.

To cut the long story short:
when Jacob took them to Egypt, to Joseph, then Moses took them back to the land, then david became prophet, after that they went against the word of God so they where banished

Looking before Judaism the land was owned by the Palestine people. The only reason the Jews went there is coz of where the religion was found, same with Christianity and Islam. ts a very Holy Land...

Why was it in Peace before the land was given to the Jewish people?
Why Christians and Jews lived happily there before?

What changed?

You dont just wake up one day and say that this land is mine when it belongs to someone else!

That's not history, it's fairy tales :p

Fact is that the strongest hold the land, same as any other country or people who have been defeated by another. History rarely comes into it, Palestinians can't oust the Israelis, end of story, they won't get their land back and they're not willing to give up on it due to it's religious value.

Must admit I never think the Israeli's do themselves any favours though in the way they deal with non-Jews (and I do mean Christians as well as Muslims).

Fairy tale no, if you don’t believe in god and his prophets then that’s your problem.

But history is there and its on paper from 3 different religions

But I agree with the other things you mentioned.

Haha. No they weren't. There is / are no god(s).

The sooner you Arabs and Jews realise that, the sooner you can concentrate on partying and making love to each other rather than hatin' and bombin'.

lol where is your proof

How can someone rule what land belongs to who if originally the whole land belongs to the Palestinians.

Er, it didn't. The Palestinians aren't even a unique ethnic group, and their origins are outside Israel. They've never been a nation, and they've certainly never owned the land of Israel.

Hell, even the Gaza Strip (where they currently live) used to belong to the Ottoman Empire, and was later taken by the British, who gave it to the Jews, who lost it to the Egyptians, who later gave it back. Then, for some strange reason, someone decided that it should be given to the Palestinians, who had never owned it at any stage.

Oh, and the Golan Heights were originally part of Syria. But the Palestinians say that land is theirs as well.

LOL, no. There was no "Palestinian people" when the Jews entered Canaan. The Palestinians are not a unique ethnic group, they have no unique history, they have no unique culture and they have no unique language. They're Arabs from various parts of the Middle East, and they have never been a nation. They didn't even begin to recognise themselves as a single entity until the 20th Century.

Prior to that time (during the British Mandate), the word "Palestinian" was used in reference to anyone - including Jews! - who lived in the land known as Israel. The Jerusalem Post (a Jewish newspaper) was originally called the Palestinian Post, despite being founded, owned and run by Jews. They changed the name in 1950.

There was no distinct definition of "Palestinian" until 1968, and that definition specifically states that Palestinians are Arab nationals; in other words, Arabs from the surrounding nations. Israel is not theirs, and it never was.

It's history; you can't change it. I know it drives you into a frenzied rage, but that's just bad luck.

Go and get an education.

i was asked if i would move and i said i probablly would if circumstances allowed.. it is as simple as that. you can keep your facepalms to yourself.

The very reasoning behind the hypothetical question I set is what you've decided to ignore by not quoting it above. You've deliberatly decided to skip around the point I was making hence the valid "facepalm".

Why not? He's explained his reasoning it's the least you could do.

The use of the words religion and history in the same sentence qualifies for an automatic fail without the option of a re sit.

We're British, who the hell are we to say who's land belongs to who given the fact we created the British Empire

At its height it was the largest empire in history and, for over a century, was the foremost global power. By 1922, the British Empire held sway over a population of about 458 million people, one-quarter of the world's population, and covered more than 13,000,000 square miles (33,670,000 km²): approximately a quarter of the Earth's total land area.

As a result, its political, linguistic and cultural legacy is widespread. At the peak of its power, it was often said that "the sun never sets on the British Empire" because its span across the globe ensured that the sun was always shining on at least one of its numerous territories.

3 different religions, none of whom agree with each other.

2 say Christ was not the son of God so please, lets not go spouting religion as "proof of history"

What a load of rubbish. Anyone with any sense knows that God doesn't exist. It's just a fallacy designed to help people make sense of things and be less scared of death.

I like Evangelion, he actually knows what he's on about before reading the carp in newspapers :)
