What are your top 5 worst ever PC games you have ever played?

1) Vietcong 2
2) Soldier of fortune 2
3) Brothers in arm: Road to hill 30
4) Half life 2 Episode one
5) Medal of honor allied assualt breakthrough
 
There are lots. Finding the 5 I think are the worst is hard.

Half Life 2 Episode one ? ... *points at door* go, just go away.

Solider of Fortune ?
Allied Assault ?
Brothers in Arms ?

Each to their own I guess but

Deus Ex 2 will always be the most dissapointing game I've ever tried to play. every so often I'll install it and try and get into it but it just doesn't happen.
 
Depends whether you mean genuinely the worst, or just the most overrated/disappointing.

The latter category is much easier, as I don't need to trawl the depths of my memory for games I played for 5mins over 10 years ago:

-Incoming (great graphics, repetitive gameplay)
-Micromachines 4 (horrible, horrible perspective)
-Daikatana (may be being a bit harsh here, but it was one of my most anticipated games, and then the game opening just drove me to tears of frustration, moving through some green bog with insects buzzing around being annoying)
-Men of Valor (really dodgy animation, looks a very rushed game which you can tell from the half-finished tutorial section)
-Blake Stone (very much a poor man's Doom)

To be fair the OP has a point, BiA:TRTH30 is really repetitive, uses cheap tactics and wasn't anywhere near the game it was hyped up to be. Meanwhile MOHAA:Breakthrough was very mundane compared to other WII shooters around that time such as the original, Spearhead, and CoD.

That game was awful!!! Had it on PC, so many bugs that they never fixed, V3 was so good on the PS1 :(

Most recent games I played which I thought were tad rubbish were FUEL and Wheelman, and I looked so much forward to the latter!
 
Farcry 2 is up there for me. Especially when put up against its predecessor.

Oh and op, that list is the most crap Ive seen typed on here in weeks.

Half Life 2 Ep 1 in your worst games of all time - meh..!!:confused:
 
With all the terrible games that have come out over the years I don't see how HL2:EP1 could be on anyone's list; even if it wasn't their cup of tea.

The only game I have played in the last few years that I thought was genuinely terrible and one of the worst games ever was Turning Point: Fall of Liberty.
 
SOF2 as everyone has said, was fantastic, great great multiplayer, mostly just in the superb range/types of maps for the game. Single player was pretty decent too though nothing fantastic, none of those are in the 5 worst games though personally I don't rave over HL2's episodic content like others do, it was boring, short, dull, entirely predictable and a rehash of the main game.

I really don't know if I could easily name my 5 worst games, Republic was pretty terrible, mostly because it was hyped SO massively that it was a huge let down in its fairly pointless final form. Spore might slot in to biggest let down catagory even if its not officially one of the worst 5(though it might be).

SOF3 was pretty terrible in so far as, I couldn't even get it to install, Champions online is looking set to be really awful. Then theres dozens of older crap titles.
