Do you think I be able to carry this?

Airbed at a music festival? may as well book a B&B

Yep.
I don't get people who take all these kind of things to a festival, it just isn't necessary. At Download this year I had a sleeping bag and used my hoody as a pillow, and slept absolutely fine without any aching or anything. Just don't pitch your tent on any stones and you'll be fine.

I was kind of under the impression the OP was asking more along the lines of "will I be able to take this on the train" than "will I physically be able to carry this".

So the total weight is like 15kg?

Man up ffs.

Im a scrawny guy, but even I could manage that.
wouldnt imagine it'd be near that, closer to 10-12.

if you have trouble carrying that then you got some SERIOUS health/fitness issues.

easily. Everything apart from the tent will go either in or strapped to the outside of the hiking bag.

However IIRC aren't those tents a large round thing. Which could cause you difficulties. But perfectly doable.

For me an airbed is far comfier than my 'roll mat', it is easily transported and provides a far superior surface for me & my girlfriend to sleep on.

Hardly what I would call a 'B&B', but we're obviously not as 'bear grylls' as you eh? :p

Roll mats, what is the point in them, hey are too thin for anything. However air beds are a pain in the **** too. Get yourself a thermarest, far nicer than a roll mat and far lighter than an airbed, but with the same comfort.

(I guess the cheapy cheap copies shouldn't be too bad either).

Am I the only one who thought he's asking whether he'll be allowed to carry this on the train without paying a surcharge?

You serious? I took 6 litres of booze and all my camping equipment (tent, sleeping bag, stove etc) plus changes of clothes and some rations to Download this year, all in an army surplus kit bag. Bloomin' metrosexuals... :P

Got to agree. Thermarest are thin, light and oh so comfy. Great for hiking & camping.

Good god, of course you can!

I'm not a big chap (at all!) yet managed more than that plus a 24 pack of beers!

I wasn't making two trips from the car! Carried everything I needed in one trip. First call was a beer, second the tent.
